VRF / VRV on site: refrigerant, condensate and power — then controls
VRF/VRV is variable refrigerant flow — many indoors, branch boxes, inverter outdoors. It is not a one-outdoor multi-split. Offices and mid-size plants often fit VRF. A chilled-water plant is still right for large AHU systems. We install both. The choice follows drawings, not a catalogue.
- Outdoor / indoor units, branch boxes — hanging, vibration, maker shop drawings.
- Refrigerant copper: equivalent length, lift; BCuP or silver braze on dissimilar metal; nitrogen hold, vacuum, charge by weight — recorded.
- Condensate falls and pumps. Power so one cluster can be isolated.
- Occupied changeover cluster by cluster. Renovation · chiller HVAC.
